Thousands of spectators are expected to both watch and march in this year's Lunar New Year parade in Flushing later this month.
The parade, which begins at 11am on Saturday, February 1st, in front of the 109th Precinct at Union Street and 37th Avenue, will bring in the Year of the Snake with floats, dragon and lion dancing, stunning outfits, martial art performers and more to celebrate.
The hour-long parade will wind its way from the corner of Union Street and 37th Avenue to Main Street and 39th Avenue.
The Greater Flushing Chamber of Commerce is part of a community coalition that plans and organizes the Flushing Lunar New Year Parade every year.
